Study Review

The purpose of this study was to evaluate how cancer treatments, genetics, and smoking history affect thinking and memory in older women. The researchers wanted to enroll up to 480 volunteers from the Army of Women (AOW) from New York, NY or Duarte, CA. The Call to Action for this study was sent to AOW members on October 26th, 2016. The researchers closed enrollment on February 1st, 2018, after the AOW provided them with 161 women who were interested in enrolling in the study.
