Researcher

Joan Severson, MS, Digital Artefacts LLC, Iowa City, Iowa

Study Review

This study investigated the feasibility of using the BrainBaseline© iPad app to identify problems with cognitive functioning in people who are, or have been, diagnosed with cancer. The researchers turned to the Army of Women (AOW) to enroll up to 500 volunteers from anywhere in the U.S. The Call to Action for this study was sent to AOW members on April 12, 2017. The researchers closed enrollment five months later, on September 11, 2017, after the AOW provided them with 683 participants who were interested in enrolling in the study.
