Agreement to Participate in the Effect of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the Wellness Activities and Well-Being of Cancer Survivors: Insights for Interventions Moving Forward

Jessica Clague DeHart, PhD, MPH, Assistant Professor

This survey study examines the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the wellness activities of cancer survivors. In addition to investigating how habits might have changed, this study will also look at how physical activity engagement may have served as a protective factor against health outcomes such as stress, depression, and anxiety. We will also examine if there is any relationship between performing physical activity during the pandemic and managing symptoms related to their cancer diagnosis. Finally, we will also assess positive psychological variables and their relationship to our outcome variables.
