Hey there!

My name is Paige More (aka Paige Previvor) and I am a community leader, expert in mastectomies and reconstruction, advocacy consultant for the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, Team co-founder of The Breasties, brand consultant, churro connoisseur, Emmy Award-Winning Producer, and your new breast friend.

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as I will be writing a monthly column for the Foundation. I hope you lean on me as your “breastie” and feel like you can come to me for anything ranging from surgery to relationship advice, the latest wellness trends, questions to ask your doctors, how to advocate for yourself and so much more.

I believe that our health journeys don’t have to be SO scary and that none of us should have to navigate any of this alone.

I created @Paige_Previvor to share my raw and real experience navigating my own health decisions after being diagnosed with the BRCA 1 genetic variant at 22 years old and undergoing a preventative mastectomy at 24 years old. When I was undergoing my surgery I didn’t know that I had options because I wasn’t presented with any. These past few years I have learned so much and I now know that as a patient, I should feel empowered to make decisions for my body and my life. I should be presented with all of my options and if I am not, I should feel empowered to ask, because I am the expert in my own body and I know what is best for me. I am really grateful to have such an amazing community to share this information with and to be able to equip my community with the confidence to ask questions and advocate for themselves in their doctors’ appointments and beyond.

I have been an avid supporter of the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research for 3 years now and I am so excited to be more involved than ever before this year. I wholeheartedly believe in the world that the foundation does, they don’t just talk the talk they truly walk the walk every single day. They truly empower patients with vital information to understand how and where breast cancer starts (one incredible example of this was displayed through their engaging BCAM social campaign last year), include patients in critical studies and make it easy for us to sign up for clinical research, and go above and beyond to bring us into the fold — which is demonstrated through their advocacy scholarship for their upcoming International Symposium of the Human Breast. These are just a few of the many ways Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research goes above and beyond for advocates, patients, and those impacted by breast cancer.

I love that Dr. Susan Love is a true visionary and has always challenged the status quo to end breast cancer and improve the lives of people impacted by the disease. She has created one of the most inclusive and impact-driven foundations, and I am so very proud to be a part of the team.

Love Research Army

We combat the disparities that exist in research by challenging the scientific community to launch studies that are as inclusive and diverse as the people that breast cancer affects.
