I'm not an athlete. Can I still participate?

Being an athlete is not a requirement! Everyone is welcome and we hope you’ll have fun walking, jogging, or running the race at your own pace. Our 5k course is USATF certified, so it’s a great event for experienced runners, but we encourage all participants to join in whatever way is most comfortable for you.

Remember, every step you take during Walk With Love means better health for you and a better outlook for a future without breast cancer!

Can we bring dogs or strollers?

Yes, bring both! Puppies and babies alike love to support Walk With Love! We do ask that you clean up after your dog and keep strollers toward the back of the group.

Is it a timed race?

Yes. If you registered as a runner, then you will receive a race bib with a timing chip in it. If you already registered as a walker, but would like to change to a runner registration instead, just email us at  and we can change your registration for you. We will also have a clock available for walkers to see their times.

Can kids run?

Of course! This event is fun for the whole family.

What is the difference between premium runner/walker registration and regular runner/walker registration?

With premium registration, in addition to your complimentary Walk With Love t-shirt and gift bag, you will also receive a complimentary entry for the Walk With Love Raffle and exclusive access to the Premium Check-in Line at Walk With Love. All registrants will also receive a personal fundraising page to share your philanthropy with family, friends, and colleagues.

Can I register someone else?

Yes, however, each registration transaction requires its own email address. You may register multiple people or family members at one time, but each participant must have their own email address in order to have their own fundraising page.

Can I take video or pictures?

Please do! And make sure you share them on all of our social media outlets! Use the hashtag #walkwlove to join the movement!

Will there be food available?

Yes! Water, coffee, and healthy snacks will be available at the family festival area before and after the race, and water will be provided along the course.

What if it rains?

This is a rain or shine event, but luckily in beautiful Los Angeles, it’s almost always shine!

Where should we park?

Free street parking can be found in the surrounding area near Pacific Palisades Recreation Center. Please refer to the map here for further information on where to park.

What can I expect at the Family Festival?

We will have many activities for families and friends to enjoy before or after the race. Bring the family and your pup and take advantage of our family festival area with a bounce house, face painting, photo booth, pet area, and other kid-oriented activities!

Love Research Army

We combat the disparities that exist in research by challenging the scientific community to launch studies that are as inclusive and diverse as the people that breast cancer affects.
