#GivingTuesday is an annual event that was founded in New York City in 2012 by two organizations: the 92ndStreet Y and the United Nations Foundation. Their goal was simple. Establish a day of giving where everyone around the world could come together with the purpose of donating to their favorite causes.

Since then, #GivingTuesday has become a global phenomenon that happens the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to embrace the momentum of that national holiday. In 2020, despite the pandemic, supporters gave an estimated $2.47 billion. Yes billion. That is a 25% increase from the previous year. And 12 countries — Chile, Ghana, Guam, Ireland, Lebanon, Nigeria, Paraguay, Philippines, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Korea, and Turkey produced national campaigns for the first time, further spurring this campaign on an international level and lifting voices across the globe.

Here at the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, we raised an impressive $86,065.73 from 241 dedicated donors. Despite the world being turned upside down, supporters still gave to research and patients in need. This #GivingTuesday we hope you will support the movement and give generously to Dr. Susan Love Foundation!

Love Research Army

We combat the disparities that exist in research by challenging the scientific community to launch studies that are as inclusive and diverse as the people that breast cancer affects.
