Nicole Wrubel

Nicole has over 20 years of leadership experience serving in strategy positions for entrepreneurial startups and transformative nonprofits with a proven track record of helping organizations innovate, thrive, and grow. She currently provides strategic direction for Close the Gap California, a campaign to achieve gender equality in the California Legislature by recruiting accomplished, progressive women to run.

Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, Nicole was a designer and executive producer of multiple award-winning educational software titles and gaming platforms and holds two design patents. Nicole’s community involvement includes serving as marketing and communications co-chair at San Francisco-based Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP). Nicole earned her BA in Art History with a minor in Architecture from Barnard College, Columbia University.
